With a stunning range of effects available including video screens and projection, we have the Wow! factor to complement our great audio systems, music choice and competent DJs. Our lighting rig is constantly updated to bring you the latest technologies and below is a summary of some of the effects we use.
We will always complement your function with appropriate lighting. For example, if you're planning a silver wedding anniversary then a mirrorball is probably more suitable than a bank of lasers!

Geek Corner
We make use of lots of different lighting technologies which we are continually upgrading. However, at the time of writing, we're quite keen on: Martin EFX500; ACME Dynaroll 250W; iSolution iMove 5s moving heads; ADJ X-move moving head lasers; NJD Datamoons; Equinox Nebula & Aries cluster lasers; Equinox Pegasus multi-beam synchronised lasers, Purelight PL series lasers; ACME ImpossibLED and Matrix LED; NJD starcloths; LEDJ LED bars and PARs. All driven by Daslight Gold DMX software running on an Asus Eeetop touchscreen PC.Ironwork includes Ultimax deckstands and Giraffe lighting stands.
Our video playout system comprises a Dell Inspiron 9400 running R4 abstract graphics software engine, Shadowdancers, digitised video sequences from the Phil Bearman series and a live dancefloor camera. Display is via HannsG TFT monitors or InFocus SVGA 2200 lumen data projectors onto custom-made rear-project screens of varying sizes and shapes up to 108-inch diameter.
Video recordings are captured on Canon HV20 1080i-capable camcorders and stills on Canon EOS 400D/450D DSLRs. Post-processing and DVD creation is via Apple Final Cut Studio 2, Apple Aperture and Apple iDVD.
