Here at VectisVibe we are committed to reducing our environmental impact... not an easy concept for a mobile disco operator when the general trend is towards high-powered audio systems and club-style lighting!
However, technology has now reached the point where we're able to offer an ECO DISCO using around one-third the power of our regular rigs and still put on a great-sounding, great looking experience! This is a FREE option with each of our packages - just let us know if you want an Eco Disco.
LIGHTING
We will bring along a great selection of LED and laser-based lighting. Here's where we see the biggest saving - a typical filament based lighting fixture will consume between 300W and 1KW in use. A typical LED fixture will consume around 30 to 50W - a massive reduction. Whilst the effects offered by LED/laser are more limited, by clever use of multiple units and some crafty computer programming we can put on a very impressive show.
AUDIO
We will dump power-hungry subwoofers consuming around 1KW each and replace the whole sound system with a very capable full-range setup based on digital amplifiers. In very large venues or outdoors we may need to retain a subwoofer or two but wherever possible we'll use our digital systems and target the output onto the dancefloor area with more comfortable listening volumes elsewhere in the venue.
BACK-OFFICE
Apart from a single printed contract which requires signatures, if you have an email address where we can communicate with you then we'll put all other documentation online.
TRANSPORTATION
Switching to LED/laser based lighting and removing heavy inefficient subwoofers from the setup means that we have a massive impact on the loads we need to carry - with a resultant reduction in fuel consumption.
